In 2004 she completed her M.A. in Media Arts (Documentary) at RMIT University, and from 2004-06 was a film critic on SBS Television’s The Movie Show.

From 1978-81 he served as one of four members of the first Board of the Federal Governments Special Broadcasting Service, which made ethnic radio permanent across Australia and, with Bruce Gyngell, established the SBS television service.
Its function was to oversee various Australian government programs relating to the broadcasting of ABC and SBS television and radio programs within Australia and of ABC Radio Australia on shortwave internationally.
In 2008, Zelic continued as an analyst for SBS Television at the Euro 2008 final, alongside English football commentator Martin Tyler.
He was part of the team that developed the television show Alchemy for SBS television.
