Two of the characters from Crystalis are subtle nods to earlier SNK characters who later became part of The King of Fighters series; the latter two sages, Kensu and Asina, are based on Kensou Sie and Athena Asamiya from the Psycho Soldier arcade game.
The company's most widely known game was Rage of the Dragons, in which Evoga planned and designed both the game and the characters and handing off development to the Noise Factory in Japan and publishing to SNK Playmore.
This little character wasn't forgotten by SNK, since he has appeared in various artwork for the company - being used in part of the Falcoon artwork for KOF 2001 (in one of his "character cards", when Li Xiangfei is playing in a Neo Geo Pocket with Neo Poke-Kun in her shoulder).
He is also asked by SNK to participate as a member of SNK's character image band, Band of Fighters based on the game series King of Fighters, under the role of Iori Yagami.
In December 2012, Tommo released a new Neo Geo handheld in North America and Europe with SNK Playmore license, It's a open source based handheld like Dingoo but closed to emulate Neo Geo games, with 20 built-in games, called the Neo Geo X.
