He joined the club in 2011, and made 21 appearances in the Regionalliga Nord in the 2011–12 season, before his former Wolfsburg youth coach, Christian Benbennek, brought him to 3. Liga side SV Babelsberg 03.
He made his first appearance at this level in the penultimate game of the 2010–11 season, replacing Nico Zimmermann in a win against SV Babelsberg 03.
Marcos began his career with Hansa Rostock and made his debut for the club in August 2012, as a substitute for Alexandre Mendy in a 4–1 win over SV Babelsberg 03 in the 3. Liga.
Ergirdi made 5 appearances in the 3. Fußball-Liga for SV Babelsberg 03 before deciding to end his professional career and to finish his law studies at the Free University of Berlin.
