In June 2007 he received the second prize for his remix of the song "SALALA" by Angelique Kidjo featuring Peter Gabriel.
His distinct taste in music saw him being the first at the station to play artist such as Salala from Madagascar, Koffi Olomide from Democratic Republic of the Congo a variety of musicians from Mozambique such as Zico and Mr Bow.
