A.S.D. Pelli Santacroce Sport was founded in 2011 in Santa Croce sull'Arno after the merger of A.S.D. Mobilieri Ponsacco Calcio (playing in Serie D) and Giovanile Staffoli.
The club was born in 2010 and merged with A.S. Rosarno (based in Rosarno, Calabria) in order to play immediately in Serie D.
Founded in 1965, Figline always played in the amateur leagues until 2008, being promoted to Serie D in 2006 and then winning a second promotion as 2007–08 Serie D/E champions, thus achieving a spot in the Lega Pro Seconda Divisione for the 2008–09 season; both promotions came with Leonardo Semplici as head coach and attacking midfielder Anselmo Robbiati, formerly of Internazionale and Fiorentina, as captain.
The club is known for having been coached by Serse Cosmi during the 1990s; during his tenure as head coach, the club achieved a number of promotions which led them from Prima Categoria to Serie D.
In summer 2007 he then joined Serie B club U.S. Avellino, but he did not manage to return to his highs, and the biancoverdi were ultimately relegated to Lega Pro Prima Divisione that year, but were eventually placed back in Serie B to fill the void left by the bankrupt FC Messina, who ultimately were relegated to Serie D.
In 2003-04 Serie C2 it was bought by the family Tulli of Cisco, already owners of Cisco Calcio in Serie D (formerly called Cisco Tor Sapienza and Cisco Collatino) which becomes Lupa Frascati, the next season.
