In The Simpsons episode Day of the Jackanapes, Sideshow Bob is in prison watching television when a guard states "lights out." Sideshow Bob states that, "At Chino, they get to stay up 'til nine".
Sideshow Bob then reveals a large pile of TNT, with which he will kill them, using a laptop with a defective battery (which will overheat and explode) as a detonator.
Rodger was also the lead vocalist in a 4-piece cover band called "Sideshow Bob" that played around a few Melbourne pubs during the mid-late 90s (1995-1996) – namely at places like the Royal Hotel in Essendon, Victoria, Australia.
