The history of the Silver Mountain area dates back to 1881 when prospector Oliver Daunais discovered silver southwest of Thunder Bay.

Marcel Jacob (ex-Talisman; ex-Last Autumn's Dream) shared the bass guitar duties on the album with Magnus Rosén (ex-HammerFall) and Per Stadin (renowned in Sweden for his band Silver Mountain).
During the intro jam for "You Fool No One" Blackmore played riffs from the songs "Still I'm Sad" and "Man On The Silver Mountain" from Rainbow's first LP Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, which had already been recorded only weeks before these shows.
The title track, "Man on the Silver Mountain," is a cover of a Rainbow song from their first album, Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow.
