Like his brother Lee Hsien Loong (the current Prime Minister of Singapore), Lee was awarded the President's Scholarship and the Singapore Armed Forces Overseas Scholarship by the Public Service Commission (Singapore) after finishing his secondary education at Catholic High School and pre-university education at National Junior College.
