As a veteran director, it was Chung's connections in the film industry that helped the documentary to assemble its impressive cast, which includes directors Lee Chang-dong, Im Kwon-taek, Bong Joon-ho, and Park Chan-wook; and actors Ahn Sung-ki, Park Joong-hoon, Song Kang-ho, and Choi Min-shik; as well as producers, critics, and other industry figures.
Cinema AZN mixed popular entertainment, informed reporting, and featured some of Asia's biggest stars such as Tony Leung (2046), Stephen Chow (Kung Fu Hustle), Amitabh Bachchan, Zhang Ziyi (Hero, Memoirs of a Geisha) and Joan Chen (Saving Face); and major filmmakers such as Wong Kar-wai, Hayao Miyazaki, Jackie Chan (Rush Hour, Rush Hour 2 and Rush Hour 3), Zhang Yimou and Im Kwon-Taek.

While many artists consider regular work, particularly the life of a salaryman as a hindrance to creativity, Korean poet Kim Gi-taek (Born in 1957 in Anyang, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea) has successfully achieved a career as a poet while also working full time.
In 2004, Shin provided the musical score for director Im Kwon-taek's film Low Life.
At the World Championships held in Milan, Italy from March 9 to March 11, 2007, Ahn won his fifth world championship, finishing first in the 1000 m and in the 5000 m relay with teammates, Sung Si-Bak, Song Kyung-Taek, and Kim Hyun-Kon.
