Charles Emery Cate

Charles Emery Cate is the eponym for Cate Street in the city center (a historic district) and the Charles Emery Cate Teacher Education Center (see insets) at Southeastern Louisiana University.

Joseph Bruno Slowinski

He performed postdoctoral work at the National Museum of Natural History and Louisiana State University, eventually taking a position as a professor of biology at Southeastern Louisiana University.

The Northshore Regional Endowment For The Arts

Working with the Community Music School at Southeastern Louisiana University under the direction of Dr. Thais Perkins, in 2004 the Endowment sponsored a direct teaching project.


River Bell Classic

On each side of the bell are the teams athletic logos with Nicholls State on the left and Southeastern Louisiana on the right.

The trophy was conceived by the Phi Chapter Alumni Association of Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity at Southeastern Louisiana.
