Clinton and Russell

At Columbia, Russell had been a member of St. Anthony Hall, the secret fraternal college society, and within a year of his joining his great uncle's firm, in 1879, Renwick completed the first St. A's Chapter House, at 25 East 28th Street, likely with Russell involved in the design work.

Elwell Stephen Otis

He attended the University of Rochester, where he was a member of the (now defunct) Iota Chapter of St. Anthony Hall aka the Fraternity of Delta Psi.

It was founded in 2003 through the initial efforts of Dines Bjørner and was chaired by Anthony Hall and Volkmar Lotz among others.

Robert Habersham Coleman

He commissioned architect (and fraternity brother) J. Cleaveland Cady to erect the chapter house of St. Anthony Hall at Trinity College (1878), which still stands in Hartford, Connecticut.
