In 2011, Alwyn recently signed a new exclusive contract of TV5 via his very 1st TV5 show and 1st TV5 primetime drama series, Babaeng Hampaslupa with his co-stars Queen of Philippine movies Susan Roces, former Palmolive endorser Alice Dixson, former Senator & Basketball Star Freddie Webb Kapatid mainstay Alex Gonzaga, former Kapamilya & Kapuso Star Karel Marquez and former StarStruck Batch 3 Winner & former Kapuso Star Mart Escudero.
Three years later, he was signed to a songwriting contract at the publishing division of Reba McEntire's Starstruck Entertainment Company.
He is one of the first StarStruck 3 Avengers who got a role through Now and Forever where he was paired to his co-alumna, Jana Roxas.
He can be seen in movies such as 52 Pick-Up, Life, The Cool World, Deep Cover, Tales from the Hood, Half-Baked, Hoodlum, Frogs for Snakes, Starstruck, The General's Daughter, Reindeer Games, Impostor, The Legend of 1900, and Purple Rain.
On television he provided the band for Crackerjack with Eamonn Andrews, as well as Nuts in May with Frankie Howerd, The Time of Your Life with Noel Edmonds, The Russell Harty Show, Tune Times With Temple, A Jolly Good Time, Dance Music Through the Ages and Starstruck.

A freshman from AMA Computer University, he joined the reality-based artista search "StarStruck" and was linked over four female survivors during the competition: Jade Lopez, Yasmien Kurdi, Jennylyn Mercado and Sheena Halili.
