In 2008, the festival took place from June 28–July 1 and will feature famed groups such as State of Shock, The Trews, Billy Talent, Hinder, Collective Soul, The Tragically Hip and Our Lady Peace.
"Hearts That Bleed" was chosen as the second single from State of Shock's second studio album, Life, Love & Lies.
Ted Nugent covered the song on his 1979 album State of Shock (also released as a single), and also on Super Hits released in 1998.
