The album also contains a 62-page booklet of liner notes, which contain photographs, artwork, accounts from vocalist/guitarist Stephen Malkmus and guitarist Scott Kannberg (aka "Spiral Stairs"), and notes Malkmus wrote for Melody Maker about each of the songs on the original album.
"Father to a Sister of Thought" is a song written by Stephen Malkmus of Pavement that appears on the band's third album, Wowee Zowee (1995).
Chipperfield is now living in Berlin and is a successful DJ playing clubs across Europe and has worked with artists as diverse as Peaches, Robots In Disguise, IAMX, Angie Reed, Stereo Total, Planning To Rock, Bruce LaBruce, Heidi Mortenson, MEN, Kids On TV, Milenasong, The Fall, Damon Albarn, Stephen Malkmus and producers Alan Moulder (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins), Flood (PJ Harvey, U2) and Bruce Lampcov (David Bowie, Suede).
Regionally distributed at Tower records and independently owned stores, the album was produced by Ryan Hadlock (Blonde Redhead, Stephen Malkmus) at Seattleās Bear Creek Studios.
