She may be best remembered for her role as Miss Western in Edwin J. Collins Tom Jones starring Langhorn Burton and produced by the Ideal Film Company in 1917, and also for her last screen performance as Lady Barmouth in The Presumption of Stanley Hay, MP at the Stoll Film Company in 1925.
The Old Man in the Corner was featured in a series of twelve British two-reel silent films, made by the Stoll Film Company in 1924, written and directed by Hugh Croise and starring Rolf Leslie as The Old Man and Renee Wakefield as journalist Mary Hatley (Polly Burton in the book).
