In 1990, Yerka received a contract with Hollywood producer Renee Daalder to design figures, monster-machines and surreal landscapes for the science fiction film Strawberry fields.
She co-wrote (with director Rea Tajiri) the screenplay to the 1997 film, Strawberry Fields.

In December 2005, they were the headlining act at Strawberry Fields, the National Law School of India University's annual music fest.
Chip Monck, who designed the stage lighting for Woodstock and became the impromptu emcee of that event had planned to emcee Strawberry Fields but the various changes in dates and venues pushed the festival into August and Mr.Monck was bound to honour a previous commitment to work the Rolling Stones European tour at that time.
