With the McKinley production of Grease approaching, Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) names Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith) as interim director of New Directions during his sabbatical in Washington, D.C. Cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) opposes, citing Finn's age and lack of qualifications, but Principal Figgins (Iqbal Theba) agrees, which angers Sue.
New Directions' director Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) suspects that cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) has been colluding with rival glee clubs, and visits the Jane Addams Academy for girls recently released from juvenile detention.
Back at school, Principal Figgins (Iqbal Theba) suspends cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) for leaking the glee club's set list, and has Will reinstated as the director of New Directions.
An eavesdropping Sue mocks Emma's indecisiveness, and informs Will that Principal Figgins needs the New Directions' setlist for sectionals by this afternoon, or the Glee Club will be disbanded.
