1998- Advisor to the Minister of State responsible for TÜBİTAK (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey), MTA (General Directorate of Mineral Research and Exploration of Turkey), and Etibank.
She was launched on February 17, 2013 in presence of Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Nihat Ergün, Minister of Development Cevdet Yılmaz, Governor of Istanbul Hüseyin Avni Mutlu and President of TÜBİTAK Yücel Altunbaşak.
On 16 July 2007, the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK), Meteksan Savunma Sanayii AŞ and Bilkent University formed a consortium for the development of an advanced millimetre wave radar (MILDAR), similar to the Longbow and the IAI/ELTA radars.
