Finn Andrews

He attended Takapuna Grammar School during his teens where he met The Veils bass player Sophia Burn, before leaving for London shortly after his 16th birthday to make The Veils debut album The Runaway Found.

Howard Charles Clark

Born in Auckland, New Zealand, Clark was educated at Takapuna Grammar School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1951, a Master of Science degree in 1952, and a PhD in 1954 from the University of Auckland.

Lois White

In 1927 she became a part-time tutor at Elam, teaching the junior drawing classes, while at the same time taking a part-time position teaching art at Takapuna Grammar School.
