In past years, Tejano bands such as Los Palominos, hip-hop entertainers such as T.I., The Clipse, and alternative rock bands such as Cobra Starship, along with some lesser known bands and have been a part of the Fiesta tradition.
Alonzo began to achieve more and more praise for his music videos which has now led to numerous videos claiming upwards of 100 million viewers combined for such artists as Soulja Boy, Ice Cube, Pitbull, New Boyz, The Game, Chris Cornell, The Clipse, Cypress Hill, Xzibit, Far East Movement and more.
The Clipse song "Grindin'" (2002) uses the lyric "patty cake patty cake I'm the bakers man, I bake them cakes as fast as I can".
