In collaboration with Paulus, Weiner co-created The Donkey Show, a disco adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream which ran off-Broadway from 1999 to 2005 and was revived in 2009 for Paulus' first production as director of the American Repertory Theater.
She has appeared off-Broadway as Helen in The Donkey Show, Cherry in Sinfully Rich, as Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream, in her one-woman show Dear Diary (Broadway Spotlight Series, Ars Nova), as well as throughout NYC in long-form improv comedy with the Upright Citizen's Brigade.
John has worked with Paul Sills, Dianne Paulus (The Donkey Show) and with director Shira Piven (Piven Theatre, Chicago; and Water, New York).
