Before he found success on any major golf tour after turning professional, he competed on The Golf Channel's original series The Big Break in Mesquite, Nevada.
The Golf Channel covered the early rounds (and all four rounds in 2008 while NBC carried the Olympic Games from Beijing).
Dwyer was also featured on The Big Break VI: Trump National, the sixth series of the Golf Channel's reality show.
Sparks also co-hosted the third edition of The Golf Channel's reality television competition show, The Big Break, titled, The Big Break III: Ladies Only, alongside Vince Cellini.
