Honor Bright, a pop-punk band from Syracuse, was selected to play on the Warped Tour in 2008 and played live on MTV's program TRL.
Kevin Lyman, the Warped Tour organizer and co-owner of Warcon Enterprises, noticed them and invited them to play at his personal barbecue.
The Warped Tour was created in 1994 by Kevin Lyman, who got the idea while working on skateboarding shows such as the Vision Skate Escape and Holiday Havoc which included music with skateboarding contests.
