The aircraft it built were very primitive, similar to craft seen in Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines, and not of the conventional shape seen today.
In May 1964 part of the line was used for the railway scene in the film Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines.

A 1919 BSA Model E complete with matching sidecar featured in a car chase in the 1965 movie Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines, where it was ridden by lead actor Stuart Whitman who played American cowboy Orvil Newton.
