In December 2011, Tony Wheeler, founder of the Lonely Planet travel guide stayed at the Inn as a guest, and hiked the Jesus Trail with Inon.
Wheeler was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and moved to London at the age 20, where she met her future husband, Tony Wheeler on a park bench in London on 7 October 1970.

On 26 November the centre was renamed the Wheeler Centre after a donation by Lonely Planet founders, Tony Wheeler and Maureen Wheeler.
