The ball is made by Adidas as the German brand took over the contract from Nike in 2001, and was firstly developed based on the Adidas Terrestra Silverstream, the official matchball of the UEFA Euro 2000 in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Particularly, every nation affiliated to UEFA at the time is present, since one of the game modes consists of a European Championship on the same format as the UEFA Euro (which had an edition that year), including the qualifying round.

On 8 September 1999 Spain beat Cyprus 8–0 in an UEFA Euro 2000 qualifier; nearly seven years later, on 2 September 2006, the national side defeated Liechtenstein 4–0 in the qualifying stages of Euro 2008.
