Advanced Combat Rifle

In 1986/7, the United States Army Infantry School had published a report asserting that the rifle, as a weapon, had already reached its peak, and the only way to really improve matters was to use an exploding warhead.

Joseph H. Harper

Harper remained in the Army, reaching the rank of Major General and serving as Commandant of the United States Army Infantry School.


Franklin C. Sibert

After the War, Sibert attended the Infantry School at Fort Benning in 1924, the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth in 1925 and Army War College in 1929.

Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono

While working at the Army headquarters, Yudhoyono was sent to the United States again, this time to participate in the Infantry Officer Advanced Course at Fort Benning and in training with the 82nd Airborne Division.
