Operation Pacific Angel is a recurring joint/combined humanitarian assistance mission sponsored by United States Pacific Command (USPACOM) designed to bring humanitarian civic assistance and civil-military operations to areas in need in the Pacific region.


17th Operational Weather Squadron

The 17th Operational Weather Squadron is responsible for producing and disseminating mission planning and execution weather analyses, forecasts, and briefings for Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, Guard, Reserve, USFK, PACOM, PACAF, USARPAC, SOCPAC, and NAVPAC forces operating at 115 installations/sites over 110M sq.mi.

20th Operational Weather Squadron

Until its inactivation in April 2006, the 20th Operational Weather Squadron was responsible for producing and disseminating mission planning and execution weather analyses, forecasts, and briefings for Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, Guard, Reserve, USFK, PACOM, PACAF, USAPRAC, SOCPAC, and NAVPAC forces operating at 115 installations/sites over 5.2 million sq.mi.

Ashok Chaturvedi

On one particular occasion, Timothy J. Keating, the commander of the United States Pacific Command made an official trip to India in August 2007 and met a number of senior Indian defense and intelligence chiefs including Chaturvedi.

Joseph Prueher

He was succeeded as ambassador by Clark T. Randt, Jr. Prior to his posting as ambassador, Prueher was a United States Navy Admiral and the Commander, United States Pacific Command from 1996 to 1999 and Vice Chief of Naval Operations from 1995 to 1996.

Joseph W. Estabrook

He was named to the Naval Station in Pearl Harbor as command chaplain in 1997, and served in the same capacity at Marine Corps Base Hawaii from 2000 to 2004.

Naval Mobile Construction Battalion One

In September 2007, following a successful homeport, the Battalion deployed to 16 different sites throughout CENTCOM, PACOM, and NORTHCOM.

Alaskan Sea Frontier - from 1 January 1947 with the establishment of United States Pacific Command, Task Force 95, Rear Admiral Daubin's Alaskan Sea Frontier, was to operate under the commander-in-chief of the Alaskan Command, Major General Craig.
