Federal Consultative Assembly

The Federal Consultative Assembly, or Bijeenkomst voor Federaal Overleg (BFO) was a committee established by the Netherlands to administer the Republic of the United States of Indonesia (RUSI) during the Indonesian National Revolution (1945–1949).

Legion of Ratu Adil

State of Madura

The state became a constituent part of the United States of Indonesia in 1949 but, because of pressure from pro-Republican forces, the state was disbanded and merged into the Republic of Indonesia on 9 March 1950.

United Nations Security Council Resolution 67

The Resolution then called for the creation of a federal 'United States of Indonesia' in which elections for constituents to a constituent assembly would be completed by October 1949 and to whom the Netherlands would transfer sovereignty of Indonesia to by July 1950.
