Jyotindra Jain

He did his B.A. from the University of Bombay (now known as University of Mumbai), in 1963, followed by an M. A. in Ancient Indian Culture in 1965, also from the university.

M. S. A. Rao

Prior to involvement at the University of Delhi, Rao had studied at the University of Bombay and it was there that he formed a lifelong association with G. S. Ghurye.

Mancherjee Bhownagree

Bhownagree was born the son of a merchant in Bombay (now Mumbai), India, and was educated in Elphinstone College and the University of Bombay.
