Mahesh received his graduate degree in computer science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and his undergraduate degree from the SJCE, University of Mysore.
He then received a masters degree in History from the University of Mysore in India.
Currently, students from 3 major Indian Universities namely Pondicherry University, University of Pune and University of Mysore are participants of this community effort.
P. S. Ayyaswamy earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering in 1971 from University of California, Los Angeles, following a M.E. (1967) and M.S. (1965) from Columbia University, New York, and a B.E. (1962) from University of Mysore, India.
Rajan received his Bachelor's degree in psychology in 1984 and his Master's degree in clinical psychology from the University of Mysore in 1986 during his extended participation in memory study.

The University of Mysore needed a quality cricket ground in Mysore and so they started constructing the stadium in 1996 and finished it in 1997,just in time for the 1997 Women's Cricket World Cup and hosted a game between Denmark women and Pakistan women and later Karnataka State Cricket Association made a 20 year deal to maintain and develop this ground.
After securing his Master's degree in psychology from University of Mysore, H.N.Murthy gained admission into "Katholieke Universiteit Leuven" or the "Catholic University of Leuven", Belgium to pursue his doctoral studies in psychology for the award of a PhD.His subject chosen was "Causality in Experimental Psychology".
He made his first trip to India in 1954 where he studied Indian philosophy and religion at the University of Mysore and Banaras Hindu University, where he met several Western monks seeking Eastern forms for the expression of their Christian beliefs.
