As an instructor, Jason taught writing and directing at Vancouver Film School, and as a journalist, his work has appeared in Vancouver Magazine and Vue Weekly.
As a writer, Jeff is a graduate of the Vancouver Film School's Writing for Film and Television Program and his short film "Behind the Funny" was broadcast on the Comedy Network on the show "Canadian Comedy Shorts."
While attending law school, he also completed a film diploma at the Vancouver Film School, worked in development at British Columbia Film and consulted at the Director's Guild of Canada.
An award winning graduate of the Vancouver Film School, he was selected to be one of five directors for the Directors Guild of Canada 'KickStart' 2003 program, resulting in awards and accolades for his film, Reflection.

Bushkowsky also teaches creative writing at Studio 58, Kwantlen University, Langara College and the Vancouver Film School, and is the co-artistic director of Solo Collective Theatre, a Vancouver-based theatre company.
He graduated from Mercer Island High School in 1992, Bellevue Community College (now Bellevue College), The Vancouver Film School in 1998 with a certificate degree in 3D Animation and Digital Effects as well as The University of Washington in 2000 with a B.F.A. degree in Fine Art (Photography) and Art (Interdisciplinary Visual Arts).
Her list of film and television credits include, the PAX TV science fiction Mysterious Ways, the Simon Fraser University film Sophisticated Boom Boom and Vancouver Film School's Great Expectation, and a role in the Lifetime series, Wild Card starring Joely Fisher.
