At the estate of King Herman the 6⅞ (a parody of ex-Kaiser Wilhelm II), the deposed king of Moronica, war profiteers Ixnay (Vernon Dent), Amscray (Lynton Brent) and Umpchay (previously Onay) (Bud Jamison) have decided that they have had enough of Moe Hailstone, the fascist dictator they put in power, and want to help Herman retake the throne.
The Stooges wish to marry their sweethearts, but are forbidden by Old King Cole (Vernon Dent) until Princess Alisha (Virginia Hunter) weds Prince Gallant III of Rhododendron "when the flowers bloom in the Spring."
Mummy's Dummies takes place during the reign of King Rootentootin, played by the rather tall and rotund Vernon Dent, but in the film We Want Our Mummy, Rootinrootin is said to be a midget.
