Today the hall stands in an important position in the city centre, across from Tudor Square and close to the Crucible and Lyceum theatres.
The Westmount Arena and municipal pool are located in the southwest corner of the park, while the Westmount Public Library and Victoria Hall are located in the northwest corner.

Together with “I Solisti Veneti” and under the direction of C. Scimone, Ms. Frati performed in venues such as the Bunka Kaikan, the Teatro Colón, the Herkulessaal, Victoria Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, the Palau de la Musica Catalana, the Beijing Concert Hall, the Festspielhaus and the Musikverein.
Hanley also offers several cultural facilities such as the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery (a large ceramics collection, and restored Spitfire), the Victoria Hall, the Regent Theatre, BBC Radio Stoke's Open Centre and studios, while Piccadilly hosts the annual Sanity Fair and French Market events.
Particularly worthy of mention amongst these are the instruments in the Nieuwe Kerk, Katwijk aan Zee, l'Église Saint-Eustache, Paris (the largest organ in France), the Victoria Hall in Geneva and the Katarina kyrka in Stockholm (the last two buildings now restored after being gutted by fire) and the DR-BYEN Hall in Copenhagen.
The Victoria Hall disaster, in which 183 children died, occurred in Sunderland, Great Britain on 16 June 1883 at the Victoria Hall, which was a large concert hall on Toward Road facing onto Mowbray Park.
