Victoria Hall, Sheffield

Today the hall stands in an important position in the city centre, across from Tudor Square and close to the Crucible and Lyceum theatres.

Westmount Park

The Westmount Arena and municipal pool are located in the southwest corner of the park, while the Westmount Public Library and Victoria Hall are located in the northwest corner.


Dorina Frati

Together with “I Solisti Veneti” and under the direction of C. Scimone, Ms. Frati performed in venues such as the Bunka Kaikan, the Teatro Colón, the Herkulessaal, Victoria Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, the Palau de la Musica Catalana, the Beijing Concert Hall, the Festspielhaus and the Musikverein.

Hanley, Staffordshire

Victoria Hall disaster

The Victoria Hall disaster, in which 183 children died, occurred in Sunderland, Great Britain on 16 June 1883 at the Victoria Hall, which was a large concert hall on Toward Road facing onto Mowbray Park.
