Ingleburn is the home of television playout centre MediaHub with the WIN Television and ABC Television.
She next moved north to Townsville, where she worked for the regional television broadcaster, WIN TV, for a year, after which she crossed to the ABC as its North Queensland correspondent, covering a large area stretching from Torres Strait to the outback mining community of Mount Isa, and down to the Whitsunday island chain.

However, the station faced a crisis in the days leading up to aggregation when WIN Television bought the Toowoomba and Rockhampton-based Star Television, and switched the affiliation from Ten to Nine, in line with WIN's NSW station.
