His first performance with Walter Micallef was during the latter's official launch of M'Jien Xejn at the Erin Serracino Inglott Hall in 2003 and plays the acoustic guitar on the March 2007 album Ħamsin.
He has featured on harmonica in Dominic Galea's jazz album Tribute, Andrew Cauchi's Bil-Qawwa ta' Mħabbtek and in both of Walter Micallef's album, M'Jien Xejn and Ħamsin.
He is the musical director and drummer/percussionist of the Maltese folk band Walter Micallef u l-Ħbieb, and works very closely with Contact Dance Company (Malta), writing music and performing live on stage with the company in Malta and across Europe.

Walter Micallef u l-Ħbieb is a modern folk sextet from Malta, featuring Walter Micallef on vocals and guitar, Renzo Spiteri on percussion, Jes Psaila on acoustic and electric guitar, Eric Wadge on bass, Pawlu Camilleri on harmonica and Albert Garzia on piano and accordion.
