Stephen Steele Barlow

Barlow came to Wisconsin about 1840, continued his legal studies, and settled at Delavan in Walworth County, where in 1841 he was admitted to the bar.

The station's channel 19 signal is also used by Chicago's WGN-TV and WXMI in Grand Rapids, Michigan, causing interference between it and those two stations in the easternmost portions of their coverage area, mainly in Walworth County, which is just outside the Madison market (though WXMI's signal is limited by the Kettle Moraine range west of Jefferson County).


John W. Brownson

John White Brownson (March 12, 1807 Sunderland, Bennington County, Vermont – September 5, 1860 Sharon, Walworth County, Wisconsin) was an American politician from New York.

The Land that the house was built on was originally given to Charles Minton Baker, (Robert's father), in 1838 by the City of Lake Geneva as part of a "compensation package" for becoming the first District Attorney of Walworth County, Wisconsin.

Samuel Pratt

He was first elected to a one-year term as a member of the Assembly from Walworth County's 1st Assembly district (Troy, East Troy, and Spring Prairie in 1848 as a Free Soiler to succeed Democrat Gaylord Graves; he was succeeded by Whig Alexander Babcock.
