In the middle 1970s, Fisher-Price produced the Sesame Street town, with various Sesame Street stores, a bridge with stop lights and Sesame Street characters such as Bert, Ernie, and the only Little People toys that have been modeled after celebrities -- Loretta Long (Susan), Roscoe Orman (Gordon) and Will Lee (Mr. Hooper).
In 2005 he released Jamming!, with top guests from New York and Rio such as Randy Brecker, Will Lee, Joel Rosenblatt, Teo Lima, Zé Canuto, Ada Rovatti, Marcelo Martins, and many others.
On television, he played Will Hughes (usually just referred to as "Grandpa") on As the World Turns, replacing Will Lee in the role on the show's second episode (1956).

One of his sons, Will Lee (William Frankin Lee IV), is a prolific bassist and one of the original members of the bands on NBC's Late Night with David Letterman and CBS' Late Show with David Letterman, both led by Paul Shaffer.
She is now recording new material, produced by Will Lee, to be released in 2012; it features Paul Shaffer on B3 organ and piano, Steve Cropper on electric guitar, Will Lee on bass, Shawn Pelton on drums, Tabitha Fair and Will Lee on background vocals, and is mixed by Frank Filipetti.
