Psychogeography, as a term and a concept, now reaches more British eyes than ever before, as novelist Will Self had a column of that name which started out in the British Airways Inflight magazine and then appeared weekly in the Saturday magazine of The Independent newspaper until October 2008.
Comprising ten episodes, in which Professor Taylor interviews Damien Hirst, Richard Dawkins, Jonathan Miller, Ann Widdecombe, Tom Baker, Will Self, David Starkey, Kathy Burke, Martin Rowson and Lily Allen.
The Roughler was single-handedly produced by Ray Roughler Jones, a refugee from Swansea, and contained contributions from The Clash, Will Self, Jock Scott, Shane McGowan, Neneh Cherry, Joe Rush of Mutoid Waste, Keith and Kevin Allen plus local heroes such as Steve Underground, John The Hat and Ian Bone of Class War.
