Clarence Halbert

In 1900, along with Hiram F. Stevens, Ambrose Tighe, Moses Clapp, and Thomas D. O'Brien, Halbert founded the St. Paul College of Law, the first predecessor of William Mitchell College of Law.

Conan the Librarian

In 1987, William Mitchell College of Law library staff created the character Conan the Librarian for a talent show performance, and subsequently wrote The Adventures of Conan the Librarian.
