In 1960, APH completed the largest Braille project ever undertaken, the 145-volume Braille edition of the World Book Encyclopedia.
He also wrote many articles for publications such as The Canadian Encyclopedia, World Book Encyclopedia, and Joseph R. Smallwood's The Book of Newfoundland.
Today, the Encyclopædia Britannica and World Book Encyclopedia retail in electronic format for around 50 USD, with cheaper OEM versions sometimes bundled with new computers.
