"Cheri, Cheri Lady" is the only single released from Modern Talking's second album Let's Talk About Love, and it was the third single in a row that peaked at number one in the German single chart, after "You're My Heart, You're My Soul" and "You Can Win If You Want".

They invited to the original choir of these projects, Rolf Köhler, Michael Scholz and Detlef Wiedeke, for the falsettos, and they recorded some of the most famous Modern Talking and Blue System songs, like Brother Louie, You're My Heart, You're My Soul, Cheri, Cheri Lady, My Bed is Too Big, Ready for the Victory, and others.
He appeared for the first time on the comeback version of "You're My Heart, You're My Soul" in 1998, then for the next few years he was heard on every single Modern Talking song released, until "Last Exit to Brooklyn" in 2001 (except "Win the Race").
