Bi-articulated bus

Volvo has manufactured several bi-articulated buses now in use in Gothenburg.

Swiss manufacturer Hess produces a bi-articulated trolleybus called LighTram that is in use in several Swiss cities, including Zürich, Geneva and Lucerne.

The Motor Bus

It has since also been cited in the context of the recent introduction of larger vehicles (including "bendy" buses).


Ikarus Bus

Ikarus provided body shells (without doors, windows, seats, engine) for Orion Bus Industries contracts to supply Toronto and Ottawa transit systems with articulated buses in late 1986-1987.

Viseon Bus

In March 2010 the company secured a contract to supply 12 articulated trolleybuses for a new trolleybus system to be constructed to serve the campus of the new King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
