1971 he became professor ordinarius for human biology at the University of Education Schwäbisch Gmünd, and 1973 he joined the Forschungsstätte der Evangelischen Studiengemeinschaft (FEST e.V.) in Heidelberg.
She received three awards for outstanding achievement, one from each of the professional associations of which she was a member: the American Association of Physical Anthropology (AAPA), the Human Biology Association and the American Academy of Forensic Sciences.

The human remains from the different levels were taken to the Human Biology Laboratory at Cornell University, where they were studied by Dr Kenneth A. R. Kennedy and one of his graduate students, Joanne L. Zahorsky.
