Alkaline Trio / Blue Meanies

Alkaline Trio / Blue Meanies is a split single between the Chicago-based punk rock band Alkaline Trio and the Carbondale, Illinois-based ska punk band the Blue Meanies, released as a picture disc in 2000 by Thick Records.

The Virus

In March 2001, the band recorded four new songs for a limited picture disc 7" to be released on Charged Records. Punk Core Records bought the rights to release the picture disc from Charged Records, and released the 7" in October 2001, along with a Singles & Rarities CD .

I Pity the Fool

Both the A and B-side was re-released by EMI in the UK in March 1979 on one side of a 7". On the B-side of this re-release was "You've Got a Habit of Leaving" and "Baby Loves That Way". This version was again released by See For Miles Records in the UK in October 1982, and as a 12" picture disc in June 1985.
