A meeting with Ebbot Lundberg of the Swedish band The Soundtrack of Our Lives led to two further albums, a tour with Emilíana Torrini and the use of one of his songs in an advertisement for an oil company.

Eventually Forsman caught the attention of Union Carbide Productions front men Ebbot Lundberg, Björn Olsson and Ian Person as they were looking for someone to record their new band, the Soundtrack of our lives.
José González, Midaircondo, Wildbirds & Peacedrums, Studio, Jaqee, Jaw Lesson aka Idiot Wind, Silverbullit, El Perro Del Mar, Fox Machine, Ebbot Lundberg (The Soundtrack of Our Lives), Bow & Arrow and Jmy Haze were among those who made The Göteborg String Theory happen in June 2009.
