Charlie has styled musicians varying from Hip-Hop artist Nas to UK band The xx and contributed to international publications from GQ Style to Clash magazine.
Kwesachu Mixtape Vol.1 features reworks of musicians including Hot Chip, Cibelle, Metronomy, Golden Silvers, The Invisible, Man Like Me, Finn Peters, and guests upcoming artists associated with the two musicians, including MCs Ghostpoet and DELS, Romy of The xx, Brotha May, Elan Tamara and Micachu's band The Shapes.
Russell, a fan of English indie pop band The xx, proposed the idea of remixing I'm New Here to the band's percussionist and producer Jamie Smith, known professionally as Jamie xx.
Though only releasing an average of six albums a year, XL Recordings has worked with The Prodigy, Beck, Radiohead, The White Stripes, Dizzee Rascal, M.I.A., Vampire Weekend, The Horrors, Electric Six, The xx, Gil Scott-Heron, Jai Paul, Tyler, the Creator, Sigur Rós, Peaches and Adele.

In July, XL signed Jai Paul, who was shortlisted for BBC's Sound of 2011, and in September the xx's eponymous debut album won the Barclaycard Mercury Prize, acquiring best British and Irish album of the year.
