Some three storey (four bedroomed) houses were built in Deedmore Road of a more traditional brick design, these are similar structures to the houses in Foxglove Close and Leeder Close off Everdon Road, Holbrooks built around the same time and are early town houses with a utility room and storage on the ground floor, living area on the first floor and bedrooms above.
Wilfrid V. Worland (1907–1999) was an architect who between the 1930s and the 1990s shaped the suburban landscape of Washington, D.C., by specializing in town houses and who designed two developments named for him --"Worland", a five-story apartment building on Wisconsin Avenue in Washington, D.C., and a town house cluster also called "Worland" on Democracy Boulevard in Bethesda, Md.
He was also noted for originality as an architect, designing two town houses, the Grand and Petit Hotel de Monville, which were built by architect Étienne-Louis Boullée in Paris at the corner of the rue d'Anjou and rue Saint-Honoré in Paris.
The rebuilding of the previous two merchant town houses into a splendid Rococo residence, at the request of Stanisław Lubomirski, commenced in 1763 and lasted until 1767.

Starting at the town's Dairy Queen, the run allows contestants to see the entire town, which consists of Camp Nebagamon, a lake that serves as the town's namesake, the Waterfront Bar and Grill, Bridge's Indianhead Tavern, Sharon's Café, Lawn Beach Supper Club, Ole's Country Market, the Imogene McGrath Memorial Library, three churches that the town houses, Dairy Queen and the Historic Lakefront Auditorium.
The town houses the historic Ravenscraig Castle commissioned by James II in 1460; many of the former premises of the Nairn's Linoleum Factories; and, the Manse in which both O. Douglas and John Buchan grew up.
Town halls such as those in Bremen, Nienburg, Rinteln, Paderborn or Hannoversch Münden also convey an impression of the splendour of the Weser Renaissance period, as do the imposing town houses of Minden, Lemgo and Hameln.
