Gabriel Özkan (born 1986), Swedish football player of Assyrian/Syriac descent
In 1976, he left Anatolian rock music genre and joined the quintet "İpucu" led by the MFÖ trio.
He worked as a radio programmer, librarian, journalist and translator until 1989 when he founded with his partner Fuat Güner (of the famous Turkish pop trio Mazhar-Fuat-Özkan (MFÖ)) FT Recording Studios in Istanbul, which was at the time the most advanced in Turkey.

Özkan's father immigrated from Ankara (Turkey) to Hamburg (West Germany) in the 1960s, where he first worked for Deutsche Bundespost and subsequently set up an independent business as a tailor in Hamburg.
Rose has edited and co-authored graphic novels for DC Comics, including La Pacifica (Paradox Press) written with Amos Poe and art by Tayyar Ozkan, and Get Jiro! (Vertigo) written with Anthony Bourdain and art by Langdon Foss.
In 1971, Özkan joined Mazhar Alanson and Fuat Güner in the duo "Kaygısızlar" ("The Unworrieds") The band was dissolved in 1972.

Between 1972 and 1975, Özkan played Anatolian rock music with Barış Manço in his band "Kurtalan Ekspresi", in "TER" of Erkin Koray, "Dostlar" of Edip Akbayram, "Kardaşlar" of Seyhan Karabay and "Dadaşlar" of Ersen.
Born in Saint-Étienne, Özkan began his career playing youth football for the French team AS Saint-Étienne.
