The universities of Oslo and Ås as well as Skogforsk now runs the arboretum together with the Society for Development.
It starts near Øverland in northern Bærum, at the confluence of the creeks Seternbekken and Ilabekken.
In 1900 the club moved to Muren near Øverland in Bærum, where a cabin Ondurstua and a small ski jumping hill was also established.
